Colette Falchet spent years at the negotiating table. As a lawyer, she represented professional soccer players, among them World Cup champions, in complex international negotiations. It taught her to read a person quickly, to weigh a single word, and to decide under pressure without hesitation.
Alongside that life ran another, quieter one. For more than thirty-five years she has studied, practiced, and taught contemplative disciplines: meditation, breath and sound, the language of dreams, the meanings of colors, the symbols that recur across sacred traditions, and the way a face, its shapes and its lines, tells a story before its owner speaks. From this inquiry she developed her own meditation techniques and symbolic practices, and through DreamWise she mentors others in them, giving language and structure to what is usually felt but never named.
Colette Falchet Fine Jewelry is where the two lives meet. Colette founded the Maison to give this way of seeing a form that can be worn. She reads a person's story as she once read a contract, closely and beyond what words can say, and she reads each stone the same way: its color, its light, what it carried up from the ground. What she perceives, she sets in gold.
